Staff Biographies

Senior Pastor Pastor Charles Rasmussen trusted Christ to be his Savior in 1969, during the spring of his senior year of high school. While majoring in mathematics at Michigan State University, he became actively involved with Campus Crusade for Christ, and upon graduation sense a call to attend Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He married Marge (also a seminary graduate) in 1975, and after receiving his Masters of Divinity in 1976, began serving as pastor of People’s EFC in Pinckney, Michigan. In April, 1988, after receiving his Doctor of Ministry (June, 1987 also at Trinity), he began serving as Senior Pastor of Desert Hills EFC. In 1999 he joined the faculty of Dad the Family Shepherd Ministries, speaking at half-day Father-Power workshops to men in the Arizona area in conjunction with his pastoral ministry. Chuck and Marge have four children: Joey, Josh, Amy, and Jennifer.
