Jesus died on the cross at Calvary. As he explained His crucifixion to the 12 Disciples, they did not understand the things Jesus was teaching them. The Savior was clear in His message. He was about to suffer at the hands of sinners who did not comprehend that they were serving the purpose of God. He would be mocked, spit upon and beaten. Do we genuinely understand the sacrifice Jesus made for our sins? Is the Cross the centrality of our lives? As we listen to this morning’s sermon by Pastor Robb, let us realize the importance of the Cross in being faithful disciples of Christ. He died for us, and we should live for Him!
